This marks the third time that the SSC GD vacancies have been increased, presenting a renewed golden opportunity for many aspirants. An additional 5,000 vacancies have been added, creating more chances for candidates to secure a position. Previously, the SSC GD recruitment 2022 began with approximately 41,000 vacancies, which were subsequently increased to 45,000. With this latest update, the total number of vacancies has now surpassed the 50,000 mark. The notification confirms that the grand total of vacancies has reached 50,012.

Candidates can check the comprehensive breakdown of vacancies across various forces. The updated notification details positions in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF. Furthermore, the notification provides a detailed category-wise distribution of total vacancies for SC, ST, OBC, and General candidates, alongside specific category-wise vacancies for both male and female candidates. This makes it a significant announcement for all male and female applicants.
SSC GD Expected Cut-Off and Answer Key Insights
With the answer key already released, candidates can now estimate their scores and potential for selection. Information regarding the expected State-wise and Category-wise cut-off for male candidates is available. For female candidates, an estimated cut-off can be determined by subtracting approximately 4 marks from the male cut-off (for example, if a male cut-off is 76, a female cut-off might be around 72). This allows candidates to gauge their standing for the 2023 selection.
