1. RRC North Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2023

- Total Posts & Trades: This large recruitment drive features a total of 3624 posts. Various trades are open for application, including Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Painter, Turner, Electrician, Pipe Fitter, Plumber, Draftsman, and Stenographer.

- Selection Process: The selection process for these vacancies will be purely merit-based, meaning there will be no written examination. Candidates will be selected directly based on their qualifications.

3. Upcoming Railway Group D Recruitment 2023
A much-anticipated bumper Group D vacancy is on its way, with the Railway Ministry having announced that large-scale recruitments will be made. This is expected to be the first Group D recruitment of 2023, offering Level 1 positions. Following this, other vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, NTPC, and RPF are also in the pipeline.
- Expected Notification & Posts: The official notification for Group D is expected to be released in July, with approximately 90,000 posts.
- Application Mode: Applications will be accepted online.
- Eligibility: This recruitment is open to all India candidates, both male and female, residing in any state or district.
- Selection Process: The selection process will involve a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a Physical Test, and finally a Medical examination.
- Exam Pattern (CBT):
- Subjects: Questions will be asked from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness & Current Affairs (focusing on the last 6 months).
- Questions & Marks: The exam will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks.
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.
- Duration: Candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to complete the exam.
- Age Limit: The age limit for Group D positions is 18 to 33 years, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed 10th class are eligible to apply. Even without an ITI certificate, applicants can apply based on their 10th pass qualification as non-technical posts will also be available. ITI pass candidates are also eligible.
