Prepare for Railway Group D Document Verification: Essential Documents Checklist
For all candidates proceeding to the Railway Group D Document Verification (DV) stage, it is crucial to have all necessary documents prepared. Failing to present the required documents during the verification process will result in rejection, nullifying all your efforts in the written exam and physical test. To avoid such a situation, ensure all your documents are complete and readily available. If any document is missing, it is imperative to apply for it immediately.
Key Documents Required for Railway Group D Document Verification
Here is a detailed list of the documents you will need to present during the Document Verification process:
1. 10th Mark Sheet
The 10th mark sheet is the first document requested. It contains your full name, father’s name, and date of birth, serving as essential age proof. If your 10th mark sheet is lost, apply for a duplicate immediately.
2. ITI Certificate
If you applied for the Railway Group D position based on your ITI qualification, you must present your ITI certificate and relevant mark sheets. If you applied only with a 10th mark sheet, this document may not be required.
3. Caste Certificate
For General category candidates, no caste certificate is required. However, candidates from SC, ST, and OBC categories must provide a caste certificate.
- OBC Candidates: The caste certificate for OBC candidates must be recent, issued within the last six months.
- SC/ST/OBC Candidates: It is crucial to present a central government caste certificate. State-level caste certificates are generally not accepted for railway recruitment. If you do not possess a central government caste certificate, apply for it without delay.
4. Income Certificate
You will need to provide an income certificate as proof of your father’s annual income.
5. Application Form
Present the printout of the application form that you submitted in 2019 when applying for the Group D vacancy.
6. Aadhaar Card
Ensure your Aadhaar card accurately reflects your full name and date of birth. An e-Aadhaar card is also acceptable.
7. Admit Card for Document Verification
You must present the admit card specifically for the Document Verification stage, which is downloaded by logging into your account.
Important Reminder
Having all these documents available and complete is paramount. If any of these essential documents are missing during the verification process, it could lead to your disqualification. Prepare all your documents today to ensure a smooth Document Verification process.
