If you have applied for the GDS vacancies, your results are now officially declared. How to Check Your GDS Result Online
To check your GDS result, you need to visit the official website of India Post. Once on the homepage, navigate to the “Shortlisted Candidates” section, which is typically listed as the fifth option. This section will guide you through the process of finding and downloading your result.
Assam and Uttarakhand Results Released
As of now, a significant update highlights that the results for Assam and Uttarakhand have been officially released. Candidates from these regions have been shortlisted for the next stage: Document Verification. The official notification clearly states that candidates for these states have been selected.
What to Expect in the Result PDF
When you access the result PDF for Assam or Uttarakhand, you will find comprehensive details about the shortlisted candidates. The PDF includes the Division, Registration Number, Candidate’s Name, Gender (Male/Female), and Community (General, OBC, SC, ST). Importantly, the document also specifies the address where your Document Verification will take place. However, please note that the cut-off marks or merit list information is not included in this result PDF.
Important Information for Document Verification (DV)
Congratulations to all candidates whose names appear on the result list! Your next step is to prepare for Document Verification. For candidates from Uttarakhand, the Document Verification process must be completed before June 30th.
To ensure a smooth Document Verification process, gather the following essential documents:
- Aadhaar Card
- 10th Mark Sheet: This will serve as proof of your date of birth.
- Address Proof
- ID Proof
- Passport Size Photographs
- Domicile Certificate
