Position :- Shift Engineer: Caster Maintenance
Job Location :- Raigarh, Chhattisgarh

Qualification :- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience :- 2 to 5 Years
Role & Responsibilities :-
- Responsible to attend shift activities.
- Knowledge of slab, combi casters and his related equipments
- Ensure availability of spares for smooth running of the plant
- To maintain a log sheet of all the activities carried out daily basis and record spare consumption.
- Planning and execution of repair jobs of equipments on daily basis.
- Ensure safe work procedure
- To ensure that routine inspection is carried out in the shifts and any deficiency noticed is attended immediately.
- To coordinate with different agencies and operation team to perform maintenance activities.
- Maintaining various systems in department like iso, ems, tpm tqm etc.
- To attend shutdown and major shutdown jobs and to implement planned maintenance through sap system.
- To ensure that routine inspection is carried out in the shifts and any deficiency noticed is attended immediately.
- To coordinate with different agencies and operation team to perform maintenance activities.
- To make why-why and capa analysis report of breakdown
- To identify the repetitive problem and his root cause
- Thorough knowledge of caster equipment’s i.e. Mould, segments, oscillator, withdrawal, hydraulics, lubrication.
- Good command over maintenance practices & spares.
- Analysis & find out the fault & reasons.
- Knowledge of development, modification, mechanical projects, contractual & out sourcing jobs.
