Vacancy Details: Rural & Urban Home Guards
The recruitment offers distinct opportunities for candidates based on their educational background and area. For Home Guard positions in rural areas, candidates who are 7th pass can apply. For Home Guard positions in urban areas, a 10th pass qualification is required.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates seeking to apply for these Home Guard vacancies must meet specific educational requirements. For rural Home Guard posts, a 7th pass certificate is sufficient. Selection Process
The selection process for the Home Guard recruitment will involve multiple stages designed to assess candidates’ physical and academic capabilities.
Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates will first undergo a Physical Standard Test to check their physical measurements. The height requirements are as follows:
- Male (General/OBC): 162 cm
- Male (SC/ST): 157 cm
- Female (All Categories): 128 cm
Chest measurements are also part of the PST for male candidates:
- Male (General/OBC): 79 cm
- Male (SC/ST): 76 cm
- Female: Not applicable
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Following the PST, candidates will participate in a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which includes various events:
- One-mile race
- High jump
- Long jump
