The age limit for applicants is set at 35 years for General category candidates. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for reserved categories: OBC candidates can apply up to 38 years, and SC/ST candidates up to 40 years.
Salary and Benefits
These permanent MTS positions fall under Group C category and offer a competitive salary package. The basic pay starts from ₹18,000 as per Level 1 of the pay matrix. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will receive various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA). Application Process and Important Dates

Selection Procedure

The written examination will be for 100 marks, with 100 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. It will cover topics such as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General English, Numerical & Mathematical Ability, Problem Solving, and General Awareness. Each section will have 25 questions. It is important to note that there will be a negative marking scheme. Candidates must aim for a good score in the written examination, as the skill test is primarily qualifying in nature.
The skill test will be conducted for 10 marks, and candidates need to secure just 5 marks to qualify. This test assesses practical skills related to various duties an MTS might perform, such as driving, electrician tasks, plumbing, AC mechanic work, gardening, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, or carpentry. The specific skills tested will depend on the role requirements.
