Following the Prime Minister’s announcement to provide 10 lakh government jobs in 1.5 years, the recruitment process within the Railway Ministry has significantly accelerated. Consequently, the Group D (Class IV) examinations for 1 lakh posts will begin in July across the country in multiple phases.

This major update, issued by a senior official of the Railway Recruitment Board, confirms that while exams will start in July, they are expected to conclude by September. Furthermore, more than 80% of these positions are for Railway Service personnel, who play a vital role in ensuring passenger safety.
While the examinations are slated for July, specific dates for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be announced shortly. Candidates can also anticipate receiving their appointment letters by June 2023, indicating that the entire recruitment process will be completed within approximately one year.
